The second my two piece study, 'His' is the masculine version of Hers . In trying to keep the same classical feel of old hollywood, I added something to this drawing that was not actually in my still life set up. This is a still life that I set up, photographed and drew. Two pieces and I am ready to return to my beloved human subjects.

Too many hours work and frustration, but a happy outcome! It was a good exercise though.

Absolutely stunning detail work, although I found the 'Hers' version a bit more Hollywood glam ... this is still an amazing piece though, very well done !

It was.....the pocketwatch! I didn't have one on hand and the WIP doesn't have one either! It was nearly and afterthought. I went searching online, tried to find one at the angle and perspective I already had, couldn't and used three different watches to bring this one together. Oh and one wall clock too! Then I had to figure out reflections and shadows for it, which was quite a challenge. I underplayed it a bit, just to be safe. Oh and I had my daughter map out the numbers because sadly I can't ever seem to get them right. :)
